Repkind is a training and nutrition app. This page explains what it stores, where that lives, who can see it and how to get rid of it. It is written to be read, not to be survived.

The short version

What Repkind stores

To do its job, the app records:

Some of this is health-related information. It is used to run the features you asked for and nothing else.

Where it is kept

Repkind keeps a database on your device, so the app keeps working when you have no signal and your session is never interrupted mid-workout.

Because Repkind requires an account, those records are also synced to our secure cloud backend, so they reach your other devices and survive losing your phone. They are transmitted over an encrypted connection and stored against your account. Signing out leaves a copy on the device so you do not lose your history.

Who processes your data

Repkind is run with the help of these service providers. Each only receives what it needs for its part of the service:

These providers only process your data to provide the service to you, under contracts that require them to protect personal data to a standard equal to or stronger than this policy. They do not use it to train models or for advertising. For Anthropic in particular: under Anthropic's commercial terms, API data is not used to train its models. To ask for the names of our other providers, email privacy@bazeflix.co.uk.

The AI features (photo scans and Ask Repkind) are only used after you agree to them in the app. You can turn AI data sharing off at any time in Settings, Preferences; the rest of the app keeps working without it.

Permissions the app asks for

Apple Health and Health Connect

If you choose to connect Apple Health (iPhone) or Health Connect (Android), Repkind reads your body weight, step count and menstrual flow days, and saves the workouts you finish back to it. You pick exactly which of these to allow on the system permission screen, and you can change that at any time in the Health app or in Health Connect's settings.

Each is optional. Decline any of them and the rest of the app still works; you simply lose that feature.

Strava

If you connect Strava, you sign in on Strava's own page and choose what to allow. Repkind then reads your activities from the last 30 days so you can see them next to your training, and, if you leave the option on, posts the strength workouts you finish to your Strava account. The access keys Strava issues are kept on our server and never on your phone. Your Strava activities are shown only to you, are not used by Repkind AI, and are deleted from Repkind when you disconnect Strava or delete your account, which also removes Repkind from your Strava settings.

What we do not do

Data retention

Deleting your data

Deleting the app removes everything stored on that device, but not what is held against your account. To erase that too, in the app open Settings (tap your photo on Home), then Your account, Delete account: this erases your account and everything synced with it (meals, workouts, routines, weights and meal photos) from our servers and from the device. You can also email us at the address below and we will do it for you. Deletion is permanent and we cannot recover it afterwards.

You do not have to delete the account to remove a single meal, photo or routine. Deleting your data gives the steps for each, and says what is removed and what is kept.

Children

Repkind is intended for adults and is not designed for children.

Not medical advice

Repkind gives starting estimates, not a medical plan. If you have a condition affecting nutrition, or a history of disordered eating, use targets agreed with your care team.

Changes

If this policy changes in a way that affects what we collect or how it is used, we will update the date at the top and say so in the app.
